You know what they say in fashion: three's a trend. And this week, three major Hollywood actresses — Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence and Olivia Wilde — wore sequins to three vastly different events. Chastain and Lawrence both wore glittering pieces from Altuzarra's fall 2016 collection for "The Huntsman: Winter's War" premiere and Cinema Con, respectively; and Wilde opted for a Michael Kors ensemble (with a black, sequined skirt) for Tuesday evening's McGovern-Dole Leadership Award Ceremony. And they all did it so casually, à la Lupita Nyong'o in J.Crew last week.

Meanwhile in the fashion industry, no premiere was as important as that of "The First Monday in May," the opening film of the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival. Curator Andrew Bolton and Vogue's Anna Wintour were obviously in attendance, as well as Jane Fonda, Robert De Niro, Francisco Costa, Hamish Bowles, Donna Karan and Zac Posen. Our eyes, however, were on model Fei Fei Sun — dressed in a dramatic, ruffled black dress from Proenza Schouler's fall 2016 collection — and Jenna Lyons, who expertly paired a floral Valentino coat with (you guessed it) J. Crew for the event.

Take a look at the rest of this week's best-dressed below (and don't think we forgot about the Duchess of Cambridge's tour in India and Bhutan).
