CLASSIC, BUTTON-DOWN SHIRTS WERE A POPULAR LAYERING PIECE IN PARIS OVER THE WEEKEND

Welcome back to our continuous street style coverage from fashion week in Paris, where the last few days were jam-packed with serious shows — from Dior to Valentino to Givenchy, and many more in between.
As such, show-goers turned up in their best duds (Loewe cat bags, Dior dresses, Gucci heels) to check out the latest collections. But sometimes it's the simplest styling tricks that stand out the most (and are easiest to cop): over the weekend, several women layered classic button-down shirts under corsets, knit crop tops and dresses. It was a smart alternative to using turtlenecks (always popular) and simple T-shirts as a base, and a distinctive foundation for some chic and clever looks.

For more of our favorite street style from Paris Fashion Week days four, five and six, see the gallery below.
