EMMA STONE HAD A VERY PRADA WEEKEND

Emma Stone stopped by the mid-Atlantic states this weekend to promote her new, Oscar buzz-worthy musical film "La La Land," co-starring Ryan Gosling and coming to theaters in December. As usual, Stone delivered some winning fashion looks at the same time, styled by long-time collaborator Petra Flannery — and featuring not one, but two Prada looks for day and night.

Stone kicked the weekend off at the Middleburg Film Festival on Saturday in what hairstylist Mara Roszak dubbed a "Don't Grab My Pussy Bow" — paired with a Hillary pin, just in case you had any confusion about the political blouse style. The soft coral blow accentuated an olive green button-down blouse, a retro-style jacket with contrast piping and a straight mini-skirt. It was all Prada, of course, and paired with a Christian Louboutin clutch, Jimmy Choo heels and loads of shiny jewelry. Stone's ginger hair was tucked into a prim, voluminous updo, adding to the feminine but sassy vibes of the entire look.

The next day, Stone amped up the elegance at Sunday's Mark Twain Prize ceremony at The Kennedy Center, honoring "Aloha" co-star and emerging athleisure designer Bill Murray. Contrast piping remained a theme: Stone chose a bordeaux sable silk Prada dress with vertical and horizontal crystal piping. She kept the rest of the look simple, pairing the ankle-length frock with silver, strappy sandals and loose, tousled hair. Opting for no necklace was a sophisticated show of restraint, too. With such luminous skin, who needs much more than a winning dress and a watermelon lips?
